And, I've tried re-enabling the Rendering of Buildings using OpenStreetMap data, and that's not working. I tried re-selecting the "automatic download" of scenery, and that's not working. I don't know why my buildings have disappeared. I'm sure I don't have enough computer power to render the v2 scenery, so I'm using v1 scenery. I need some help getting up to speed fixing my scenery problem. So i extracted the contents, but the contents are numerous folders. I downloaded the airports.tgz file in my "Additional scenery locations" but when I install it using the button it won't except the tgz file. ![]() I can see the download to download from but have no idea which files I need to download for my region. Now I attempting to manually install the v1 (lower res) scenery because the other solution is failing. There are just a few buildings, I suppose the default that aren't associated with openstreetmaps data. Now, however, most of my buildings at the airport have disappeared, and the buildings and hangers are now slabs on the ground at the mechanics shop where I start my Flying Session. ![]() This worked at first: I was able to see all sorts of buildings and the control tower at my airport. I also selected to enable the openstreetmap building imagery under Rendering. I've just installed Flightgear and use an optional airport, and have it running with automatic download of scenery selected. ![]() I have an old i5 computer with a slow video card. ![]()
